ABOUT THE THREE GRACES (1980)

The Three Graces was an alchemical interpretation of the Greek myth, the Judgment of Paris. The Arbitrator in this case is the viewer, who is provided with three objects: Air, Light and Clockwork, representing Aphrodite, Athene, and Hera respectively. The characters were drawn from Robert Graves’ book The Greek Myths, the values of Joyfulness (Aphrodite), Brilliance (Athene), and Abundance (Hera).
