A chart proposing a labyrinth situated in a hortus conclusus in south London, constructed from a field of genetically modified pansies aping the appearance of the rare Camberwell Beauty (Nymphalis antiopa).

A specially arranged score, for horn quartet, based on Bach’s Kleines Harmonisches Labyrinth (1750) is instrumental in creating the machine-cut labyrinth over a three-month period.
