ABOUT TELISOCITUM TANKAPILIA (1976-77)
A play in three parts for the reorganization of the world after it was hyperfectically to hot to Inhabit. The intire plot has little dialoge it was intended to be presented like a silent film,where some 24 different faceial cosmectic treatments, conveyed moods. Montmerency Mills a scientist ,was the principle figure ,his research into desert fauna lead to creating a new specieces of plant capable of withstanding extreme heat.Two animated sulptures were developed by him,to harvest this crop.Tankerpilia resembled a tortoise where its shell acted as a solar collecter,energizing its slow and laborious movments ,perfect for its agricultural endvors. Telisocitum had the use of butterfly wings to harness sun and inspect from a vantage point .A full manuscript of symbolic stagings exhists. two sculptures , (stage sets )drawings and notebooks. Telisocitum destroyed, Tankapillia is in need of restoration .
